As the newest articled student at Cohen Buchan Edwards LLP, James is committed to helping his clients to the fullest. With his primary interest in civil litigation, James is also very much interested in other practice areas. Prior to law school, James had obtained a Master of Engineering degree from Simon Fraser University; therefore, he had the opportunity to participate in many interesting projects. In addition, the technical training he had received in different fields of engineering has enhanced his ability to learn new materials in an efficient manner.
With Richmond as his home, James plans on pursuing his legal career in this beautiful city. As a multi-lingual individual who has travelled to many places and experienced various cultures, he is ready to serve the diverse Greater Vancouver community.

During law school, James volunteered for the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic (FLAC), a non-profit legal clinic which offers free legal advice to the public.
As for his interests, James enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures. One of his lifetime achievements was to drive across the North America continent from Vancouver to east coast of Canada.
