Biography
Louise received her B.A. in international relations and her J.D. in law at the University of British Columbia. She, previously, was an articled student with the firm before officially joining Cohen Buchan Edwards as an Associate after she was called to the Bar of British Columbia in October 2011.
Louise participated in the UBC First Nations Legal Clinic program during her third year of law school, where she had conduct of a wide range of legal matters, including criminal law, family law, human rights law, and residential school compensatory claims.
She also worked as a summer intern at CHIMO Outreach & Advocacy, providing free legal assistance to people in her community. Louise is interested in concentrating her practice area in civil litigation, including family law, estate law, and personal injury.
Louise is a trained athlete in wu-shu martial arts. She began her training at a very young age. Louise won her first national gold medal at the age of ten and continued to excel at various levels of wu-shu competitions thereafter. Although she no longer competes, she still enjoys practicing the sport for fitness and leisure.
