Bruce has been practicing law for over 30 years and has long-term relationships with businesses, financial institutions, trust companies, and individual and multi-generational clients in BC and elsewhere in many areas of law, with an emphasis on:
- business and corporate law, including incorporations, shareholder agreements, share and asset purchases, reorganizations, and contracts
- banking and commercial lending
- commercial and residential real estate purchases, sales, mortgages and co-owners agreements
- succession planning and wealth preservation, including wills and trusts, such as alter ego trusts, joint partner trusts, family trusts and disability trusts
- planning for incapacity, including powers of attorney and representation agreements
- estate administration for executors and administrators, including probate applications and applications where the deceased did not leave a will
- estate advice for others, including Wills Variation Act matters
Bruce listens to his clients, carefully identifies the issues and offers considered business and personal solutions. He understands that timeliness and responsiveness are important to his clients. He believes in a team approach when necessary, using all of his experience and the experience of his colleagues, paralegals and legal assistants to provide legal services to suit the needs and goals of each individual client on a cost-effective basis. He believes his strong service ethic is, in part, why he has earned the loyalty of many long term clients, who often refer others to him for legal advice and services.
